THAMBOORAAN TREK....

The greatest and adventurous trekking starts in kilavarai village Kodaikanal…

In this trek only possible when kodai mani brother is with us.

This time not only me also my friend willing to join me so two members can climb that peak of Great THAMBOORAAN HILLS...

when we are climbing that peak already its too late for us (exactly around 3.30pm)

Wherever we are away from kilavarai village just an amazing dense forests will show up

Climbing all the way to THAMBOORAAN TEMPLE...

It is bordered by the Idukki district's Devikulam taluk and the Dindigul district's Kodaikanal taluk.

 

It is located on the western edge of the upper Palani hills, near the border of Kerala's Pambadum Shola National Park (Idukki).

 

Its elevation is 2,533 metres above sea level. It is Dindigul district's highest point.

 

The ascent to this summit is enthralling! This peak's surroundings are densely forested, with plenty of wildlife to be viewed.

THAMBOORAAN TEMPLE

 

From Munnar Top Station to Kodaikanal, it has an older and higher motorable road in South India. Taking a taxi from the adjacent town of Munnar will get you to this station.

 

Vembadi shola (2,505m) and Karumkadu are two other notable peaks (2,150m).
